When Ray, a 14-year-old comic book nerd and self proclaimed 'BAD ASS' sees a meteor hurtling towards him from outer space, he thinks his power hungry prayers have been answered. But Ray isn't the only witness to this cosmic cataclysm. The neighbour's dumber-than-dirt cat is taking a dump in his backyard and catches the full brunt of the radioactive blast! His scrawny, furry frame transforms into a hulking mass of heroic awesomeness. KAT stands before Ray, his whiskers bristling with the potential of a million unknown super-powers, his brain operating with the speed of dial-up internet. Ray figures if he can't have the powers, he'll trick the moronic cat into doing his superhero-ing and take ALL the credit for himself.

BUT WAIT! The cat wasn't the only one pimped-out with an atomic overhaul. His turd was brought to life by this celestial shower too, and 'Dookie' ain't happy. "I'm a walking talking, fully sentient, indestructible, evil genius piece of sh*t?!? - You gotta be pullin' my peanuts!" Dookie's hell bent on destroying the meteor and reversing his cursed existence no matter the cost. And if the universe happens to get obliterated in the process - SO BE IT! Nothing's gonna stand in his way... except maybe Ray and Kat.

These three misfits are getting their kick at the superhero can, so lock your doors, hide your children and for God's sake don't feed the Mogwai after midnight. And another thing .. whoever said "With great power comes great responsibility" sure as hell wasn't watching KatAtomic and GammaRay. This outrageous superhero series could only have come from the deliciously twisted minds of Todd Kaufman (Co-creator of Sidekick) and Mark Thorton (Total Drama Island).
