Multiple ACTRA Award Nominations for Stella and Sam
Rachel Marcus (age 14) and Miles Johnson (age 7), who play Stella and Sam respectively, have received a joint-nomination and Robbie Fitzroy (age 8), received a nomination for his performance for Sam's best friend Owen. "We could not be more proud of our incredible young cast. Under the wing of voice-director Susan Hart, their talent truly shines. What an honor for them to be recognized by their peers," says Michelle Melanson, Supervising Producer. This is not the first time the actors were acknowledged for their talent on the series; Marcus and Johnson were also individually nominated for Gemini Awards in the Best Performance in an Animated Program or Series category in August 2011. Toronto, Canada - January 11, 2012 - Radical Sheep Productions is proud to announce that three young actors from the animated preschool series, Stella and Sam, have been nominated for the 2012 ACTRA Awards in the Outstanding Performance - Voice category.
